Monopol strikes gold at Equip Auto

Monopol has just been announced as the winner the Golf Trophy in the OEM & New Technologies category at the 2013 Equip Auto Grands Prix  for auto innovation. The winning product was the Monopol Peintures for the SOLAR Monopol® hightech clearcoat.

This product, a result of nanoparticle technology, results in a temperature difference of up to 13°C in strong sunlight, compared to a traditional varnish without this type of pigment.

This technology seems open to many applications in areas as diverse as construction or horticulture… and of course also in automotive bodywork refinishing for refrigerated vehicles or vehicles for very sunny countries, giving a significant energy benefit due to less stress on the air conditioning.

You should also note that this coating can also be applied to windows, including panoramic roofs and sunroofs.
