More successful roadshows for MechanExpert

The third instalment of the MechanExpert 2019 Roadshow headed west from September 10-12, visiting Castlebar for the first time and returning to Limerick and Galway following previous events in 2018 and 2016.

Castlebar’s TF Royal Theatre & Hotel provided an excellent space, allowing experts from MechanExpert’s many and varied brands all the space they needed for their engaging selection of demonstration equipment as well as a separate area for informative talks from Comma and Bosch.

Live demonstrations from Hella Gutmann Solutions on the ease of use of their CSC Tool for ADAS calibration proved very popular, with the ubiquitous Mk7 VW Golf an ideal choice of demonstration vehicle – perfectly exemplifying how commonplace these systems are becoming.

The LCETB Training Centre in Raheen Business Park provided an excellent backdrop to the Limerick event. MechanExpert expressed their gratitude to Paul O’Flynn for his warm welcome, help, and cooperation in hosting the roadshow. With the packed classroom above the workshop, Bosch and Comma’s talks again proved extremely popular, as did the VW Golf ADAS Calibration demonstration from Hella Gutmann Solutions. MechanExpert has also reached out to thank Bavarian Autotechnik in Limerick for their local support of the Roadshow which was undoubtedly instrumental in the impressive turnout from an engaged and information-hungry crowd.

The Menlo Park Hotel on Galway’s ringroad was chosen as an antidote to Galway’s oftentimes challenging traffic, and it didn’t disappoint with a mixture of new attendees and familiar faces making up the eager crowd. The technical experts were kept on their toes as ever and the talks from Bosch and Comma were especially well-attended on the third evening. As is always the case, things got even busier after the talks with people returning to the experts with a flurry of new questions based on what they’d just heard – the best sign of an audience keen to learn.
