Motorsport Ireland suspends events

Motorsport Ireland has suspended all events following government’s decision to cancel all indoor gatherings of 100 people and all outdoor events of 500 people to combat the spread of Covid-19.

These measures are being put in place from 18:00 tonight, March 12 to March 29, 2020.

Leo Hassett, CEO, Motorsport Ireland said in a statement: “Motorsport Ireland will therefore support this [decision] and has suspended all events until this date. We will endeavour to work with the clubs affected to try and reschedule new dates.

“We will continue to evaluate the situation and play our part in the greater national interest.”
