New Brand Manager at Standox

Olaf Adamek has over as Brand Manager at Wuppertal-based paint manufacturer Standox GmbH. He succeeds Zvonimir Simunovic, who has been appointed Loyalty Programs Manager at Axalta Coating Systems, the Standox parent company.

Adamek started his career at DuPont Performance Coatings as Project Manager for Marketing Communications in 1998. Before joining Standox he worked for another of the company’s brands, firstly from 2000 in International Marketing, where he was responsible for brand management in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and then from 2004, focusing on the German market as Marketing Manager, Key Accounts Manager and Network Manager.

In his new position as Standox Brand Manager, Adamek will once again work at an international level and be responsible for the strategic management of the Standox brand.  In doing so, he will aim for continuity. “Standox is the premium brand in the market for automotive refinishing systems and is excellently positioned with its innovative product portfolio. Strengthening and communicating this position will be my primary task,” he says.
