Innovative ergonomic tool available at Techplus

The Wheel Trolley Easy Lift is the latest product from Ahcon, which is available in Ireland through Techplus Ltd.

The Easy Lift is an elevated wheel trolley, which, with the help of springs, raises and lowers in relation to the wheel load. Designed to save yourself from heavy lifting and improve ergonomics.

The trolley can hold up to four wheels and has a max load of 180kg. It also has wheel brakes on two casters.

The Easy Lift also achieved recognition at several award shows last year. In May 2019 the Easy Lift was a finalist at the Danish Design Awards in the category ‘Better Work’. In November the Easy Lift was again a finalist – this time at the Auto Award Show in Denmark in the category ‘Product of the Year’.

Also in November, at the Swedish show Motorgalan 2019, the Wheel Trolley Easy Lift was the winner in the category ‘Innovation of the Year’.

Before the product’s launch in Denmark, Ahcon completed a test in several workshops where the mechanics agreed to test the function of the Easy Lift in their normal workflow during a period of three to four weeks.

The result of this test was “very positive”, and most of the mechanics in the test felt a “relief of their back, shoulder and knees”, thanks to the lower amount of heavy lifts.

The Wheel Trolley Easy Lift is expected to be on show at the Techplus stand at this year’s Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO at Citywest Exhibition Centre, Dublin, October 17-18.
