New Meyle app helps find Meyle-HD parts faster

Meyle has launched its ‘Meyle Cat’-App – an easy-to-use iPad application offering clearly structured technical information and product images which can be used offline. With five different options to launch article search, including vehicle or product group criteria, the app was developed by Meyle to help repair professionals find the spares they need quickly and easily.

Meyle_HD_App_18x12On a single page the app features clearly structured product information and 360-degree illustrations for over 200 items. As an added extra, the app includes a summary of the benefits that technically enhanced Meyle-HD parts offer over original designs with all data being updated on a daily basis and in six different languages. A free download version of the App has recently been made available in the Apple App Store with the Android version to follow soon in the Google Play Store.

Finding the correct spare part swiftly is a major day-to-day challenge for workshop pro
fessionals. With the ‘Meyle Cat’-App, short for ‘Meyle Catalogue’, Meyle offers a value-added solution: The iPad app includes comprehensive technical information on the entire range of performance-enhanced Meyle-HD parts, engineered to outshine OE designs in terms of durability and reliability. As an added extra the app features a 360-degree view of over 200 products and a concise summary of the benefits that Meyle-HD parts offer over original designs.

“Users will benefit from the wealth of information and concise technical details along with the advanced search options which simplify part search and allow repair professionals to identify the required items quickly and easily”, says Inga Weyrauch, Head of Information Management at Meyle. “In our efforts to provide workshop professionals with up-to-date information digital media will play an ever more important role. In addition we value the sustainability they offer over printed catalogues.”

Once the data has been downloaded, it is also available offline. Possibly the most compelling merit: Five different search options, i.e. search by vehicle model, product group, part number, cross-reference number and OE number, help simplify and speed up the complex task of correct spare part identification. Using the ‘Meyle Cat’-App workshops are armed with a full-service tool allowing them to find the required parts swiftly, place an order with their wholesaler, perform repairs more promptly, win satisfied customers and build strong customer relations.

The ‘Meyle Cat’-App is free for download from the Apple App Store, with the Android version on Google Playstore following soon. The ‘Meyle Cat’-App is a kiosk application allowing users to store on its virtual shelves free download copies of other Meyle catalogues. The currently available App languages include German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian.
