New self-adjusting locking pliers from Laser Tools

Every tool box has a pair of self-grip or locking pliers; they have been around for decades. Great, versatile tools, but you have to adjust them each and every time whenever you grip a different fastener, clamp some sheet metal or choose a larger pipe.

However, these automatic locking pliers from Laser Tools (part number 8022) automatically adjust to the correct size and provide a strong grip every time.

The curved jaws are made from chrome vanadium steel and open right up to 48mm; the deeply serrated teeth grip the workpiece from any angle. The handles are chequered to allow increased grip.

The handle is of a riveted construction to provide extra stiffness which reduces deformation when the pliers are under load.
