Axalta Coating Systems,  the company that owns leading automotive paint brands, Standox, Spies Hecker and Du{ont Refinish has rolled out a new corporate brand identity that captures the scope of its business around the world.

Abrasives specialists Mirka has signed a deal with an environmental management company, Ekokem, to build a bio-energy plant next to Mirka’s main manufacturing facility in Jeppo, Finland.

Contitech’s buisness unit, Benecke-Kaliko, has now succeeded in developing scratch-resistant materials that remain unblemished on contact with pointed objects such as keys. The materials cover dashboards, side trim panels and storage spaces in passenger and commercial vehicles.
