Power-Tec introduces new knife and rope saw windscreen removal kit

When it comes to removing bonded windscreens from modern vehicles, professionals know that accuracy and control are key.

Power-Tec has introduced its new windscreen removal kit (part number 92723), a traditional knife and rope saw glazing removal set designed to make windscreen removal easier, safer, and more efficient.

This comprehensive kit includes a selection of specialist knives, bladed tools, and hook tools to tackle even the most stubborn urethane adhesives, along with vacuum holding pads for safe handling of glass panels after removal.

Modern vehicles use high-strength urethane adhesives to bond windscreens securely in place. While powered cutting tools are an option, a manual knife and rope saw kit offers several advantages, such as accuracy and control, no heat damage, and safer for integrated tech.

Combining the benefits of a traditional knife and rope saw method, Power-Tec says this kit ensures safe removal without the need for power tools, reducing the risk of damage to surrounding components.

Supplied in a sturdy and convenient blow mould case, this versatile and cost-effective kit is now available from your local Power-Tec supplier.
