Leading paint company PPG has has confirmed its participation at the Auto Trade Expo 2014, which takes place at Citywest, Dublin in November.
The company which recently launched, its D8082 UV Cured Primer Surfacer technology; designed to help bodyshops reduce energy costs and increase throughput, will exhibit is full paint portolio at the two-day event.
D8082 UV Cured Primer Surfacer technology uses advanced UV Primer technology enabling a rapid cure of the primer using UV light to deliver significant process efficiency benefits and reduce costs for bodyshops versus a conventional primer.
The new UV-Cured D8082 technology from PPG requires no flash off between coats and can be cured in as little as 4 minutes under a UV lamp; offering significant time and costs savings for bodyshops.
Using this new UV-Cured Primer Surfacer from PPG can dramatically reduce the cycle time of a vehicle repair with a 1 visit application, resulting in greater productivity and profitability. Further to this, the unique clear characteristic of the UV-Cured Primer Surfacer offers complete visibility of the repair below the primer meaning the repair area is kept to a minimum; saving material usage and time. D8082 is also very easy to sand minimising additional work and providing further time savings to the bodyshop.
