PPG Linq to take centre stage at Automechanika

PPG Refinish UK & Ireland will next month be showcasing its new proprietary digital ecosystem, PPG Linq at Automechanika Birmingham from 6th–8th June at the NEC.

Launched this March, PPG Linq is the latest digital innovation from PPG, designed to seamlessly connect the entire bodyshop operation via its advanced ecosystem of hardware and software.

In phase one, PPG has launched DigiMatch, a market-leading, six angle spectrophotometer, along with VisualizID, the company’s new colour visualisation tool.

When coupled with PPG’s Moonwalk automated mixing system, Linq becomes an automotive refinish colour matching solution that the company says is guaranteed to reduce waste material and material consumption, save on costly rework and significantly increase bodyshop throughput thanks to the reallocation of skilled labour; all of these benefits ultimately leading to a higher bodyshop profit margin.

PPG will also take to the Bodyshop Hub stage on both 6th and 7th June. Adrian Ball, marketing director North Europe will host two 30-minute seminars.

Firstly, Ball will be showcasing the benefits of utilising PPG Linq in a bodyshop operation at 10:30 on 6th June. Ball will then return the following day at 13:30 to introduce the UK and Ireland to PPG’s ‘Sustainability CO2ncept’.
