PPG Moonwalk now available with no upfront investment
PPG has announced that its Moonwalk mixing machine is available to bodyshops on a monthly subscription plan that requires no upfront investment.
Launched in 2019, MoonWalk replaces the manual paint mixing process with an automated solution that reduces product waste, eliminates spills, increases bodyshop productivity whilst achieving a perfect colour match every time thanks to the highly accurate scale that measures to 0.01g removing all chance of human error.
Since launch, MoonWalk has been installed in over 1,600 businesses across EMEA and is set to grow further with the technology launching in USCA and ANZ in the past month.
“The new MoonWalk subscription model has been introduced to make the future of refinish technology more accessible to bodyshops,” said Richard Goode, automotive refinish market director UK & Ireland.
“PPG’s mission is to lead the way in automotive refinish digital innovations. The power of MoonWalk’s colour matching capabilities is truly unrivalled, particularly when paired with PPG Linq, we want these huge gains available to as wide an audience as possible.
“Businesses will now be able to feel the positive effect MoonWalk has by removing the large upfront investment.”
The new subscription model is now available to order at a fixed fee of €650 per month over five years.
PPG’s latest technological innovation, PPG Linq, can also be included with the MoonWalk subscription fee as a bundle for a reduced price.
