PPG Refinish reapproved by Honda for five more years
PPG Refinish Systems has been reapproved by Honda Motor Europe for another five years. The pair have been in collaboration together for the past five years.
The reapproval deal will include the PPG, Nexa Autocolor and MaxMeyer refinish brands. The agreement will cover the Honda service network in the Europe.
Carsten Seyer, senior business development manager for PPG Refinish Systems in EMEA said: “PPG, MaxMeyer and Nexa Autocolor have been able to provide great benefits to Honda body shops across Europe over the last few years. Both companies have benefitted from the close cooperation – we are happy to continue with Honda for another five years”.
Peter Gottschalg, body and paint manager for Honda Europe, said that PPG and its three refinish brands have been a valuable partner for Honda and its network, making the decision to continue with PPG an easy one.
Gottschalg added: “The new Moonwalk mixing solution gives us another reason to keep working with PPG – it seems this will set a new standard in paint mixing for the collision repair industry. That’s why we wanted to make the new technology available to our network at a very early stage.”
With this formal reapproval, both companies expect to have the support of the right partners, enabling them to adhere to the highest possible standards in the industry. They will continue to develop and expand on their existing networks, all based on the strong foundations of cooperation they’ve established in recent years.
