Protect your Business and the Environment says EPA

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is urging certified bodyshop owners to protect their business and the environment by reporting uncertified operators to the auhorities.

The EPA says that uncertified bodyshops are operating illegally and may be using illegally supplied non-compliant paints.

The EPA licensed operators can help their local authority and the EPA to identify and take action against these illegal operators.

Bodyshops can do this by providing the details of these operators to (a) their local authority directly, (b) to their approved assessor during the inspection process, or (c) by phoning the National Environmental Complaints Line (in confidence) on 1850 365 121.
