Ring Xenon Ultima wins Best Buy Award
Ring Automotive’s Xenon ultima, the world’s first autobulb to produce up to 120% more light on the road compared to a standard bulb, has triumped in a Polish magazine test.
Auto Swiat- the equivalent of Auto Express in the UK, tested a number of leading autobulbs, to find the best available autobulb on the market.
The test was on H4 references and was conducted at independent laboratory for impartiality. They tested the H4 bulbs in an old vehicle and a new vehicle to assess how head lamp design also impacts on the performance of autobulb. The old vehicle used was a Skoda Favorit and the newer vehicle was a Honda Jazz.
The test measured the light output at 50 metre and 75 metre distances. They also checked that the light conformed to ECE Reg 20 on headlamp approval, so that the distribution of light output does not cause glare or blinding to oncoming traffic.
The Ring XenonUltima was praised for the fact that it gave the best beam results when used with the Skoda Favorit and equally praised for a very good beam pattern in the Honda Jazz.
