Ring Xenon200 wins recommended 2023 award

Ring Automotive’s H7 Xenon200 won ‘recommended for 2023’ in the first Auto Express product test of the year, with a highly respectable score of 97 per cent.

This follows on from last year’s bulb test where the H4 Xenon200 reference won Best Buy 2022.

Producing up to 200 per cent more light in the road compared to a standard bulb, Ring says the Xenon200 allows motorists to see objects and other road users more clearly, and with a longer beam pattern of 80 metres can react earlier to any hazards.

The test measured light levels at 50 metres and 75 metres to calculate a figure of merit the brightest point the bulb lit at above 30 lux.

Auto Express says all bulbs were tested to make sure they complied with E-mark rules.
