SDC Trailers launches welding apprenticeship programme

SDC Trailers has partnered with the Northern Regional College in Northern Ireland to offer six places on its 2025 welding apprenticeship programme.

The semi-trailer manufacturer says this programme will be based out of its facilities in Toomebridge, Co. Antrim and combines hands-on experience with classroom-based teaching.

Upon successful completion, SDC Trailers says apprentices will achieve a Level 2 and 3 welding certification, as well as be guaranteed a full-time position with the company, including a four-day work week, attractive employee package and opportunities for career progression.

The application deadline is Friday, 16th May, with the first intake set for mid-June with the second intake scheduled for mid-September.
