SEAT dealers raise €10,000 for Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin
SEAT dealers across Ireland helped raise the huge figure of €10,000 for Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin. Crumlin representative Johann Fox collected the cheque from Cian O’Brien, Director of SEAT Ireland and the SEAT dealers of Ireland at their annual conference this weekend, Saturday 24th in Thomand Park.
The total comes at the end of a very successful campaign for the new SEAT Leon, which saw each SEAT dealer attempt to build a space rocket in their showroom, with the help of customers. Thousands of toy building blocks where mailed to homes across the country with a message asking the public to call into their local SEAT dealer, add their toy brick to the SEAT rocket in the showroom and in return a donation was made to the Children’s Medical and Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
Speaking about the great result Johann Fox, Corporate Fundraising Manager, Children’s Medical & Research Foundation at Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin said “It’s great to have support from a nationwide network like the SEAT dealers throughout Ireland. Children from all over Ireland use the facilities at Crumlin and we feel they deserve the best we can give them. This money will be put to such good use and we would like to thank everyone who has taken part”.
Cian O’Brien, Director SEAT Ireland said “We are delighted with the success of this campaign and would like to thank the SEAT customers all over the country who helped us raise this money for such a fantastic cause”.
