See deeper into Volkswagen technology with Via Vision insights

As cars become increasingly complex, Volkswagen is attempting to cut through some of the technological mysteries with a series of short magazines and a website called Via Vision (http://www.viavision.org.uk).

Each edition examines a different aspect of vehicle technology, from the MQB platform, through tyres and precious metals to cabriolet roof mechanisms.  The latest Via Vision has just been published, and is now available to view and download.

Written in an easy to digest format with ample illustrations, pull-out facts and a foreword by the Volkswagen Group’s Head of Research and Development, Dr Ulrich Hackenberg, Via Vision provides a simple guide to the world of Volkswagen.

Topics covered so far in 2012 are: Brakes, Nanotechnology, the MQB platform, Autonomous driving, Car connections (and how automotive companies are related), Convertibles, Aerodynamics and Tyres.
