Sikkens launches new global website
Sikkens has launched a totally redesigned global website.
The new site brings the “Creating Together” story to Sikkens partners and customers all over the world, with the latest news on products and services, and features like the recently initiated “The Painters” campaign that gets up close and personal with the painters and repair professionals who use Sikkens products.
The new global website landing page (Sikkensvr.com) will serve as a portal for country sites accessible from an interactive map. The global site will showcase Sikkens partnerships with customers all around the world, highlighting the many ways that “creating together” is expressed in improved performance, greater bodyshop efficiency, outstanding color technologies, innovation, community programs, safety, and sustainability.
The website includes a “heroes” section with detailed information on Sikkens’ many close partnerships. It features, for example, Sikkens’ partnerships with the McLaren Formula One Racing Team and with the student team at Delft University of Technology whose Nuna Six solar powered car finished second in the 11th World Solar Challenge in Australia.
With the more expansive material on the site including stories of interest to car enthusiasts in general, Sikkens is looking to broaden the target audience beyond the world of vehicle refinishes professionals. Part of that will be links and tie-ins to social media sites like the Sikkens pages on Facebook, feeds on Twitter, videos on YouTube, and much much more.
The global site also bundles essential information on products, color, services, and a wide range of promotions and promotional materials for Sikkens customers and distributors. The global portal is available with a single click in French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Polish. Visitors to the existing Sikkens site at www.sikkenscr.com will be automatically redirected to the new www.sikkensvr.com global portal.
