Skoda Ireland 2019 Trainee Programme returns

Skoda Ireland’s 2019 Trainee Programme will open to applicants from June with over 30 new roles across the Skoda Ireland Network up for grabs.

The new roles include; Apprentice Technician, Parts Advisor, Service Advisor and Sales Executive.

This is only the second time that Skoda Ireland have run such a scheme following a successful recruitment drive in 2016.

Head of after sales at Skoda Ireland, William Lee commented: “Skoda is seeing an unprecedented level of growth in Ireland at the moment as well as the introduction of new technology as we look to launch both Hybrid and full electric vehicles in 2020. We want to ensure that we’re attracting the most talented people to work for Skoda in Ireland so we can continue to provide the same excellent level of service that we’ve built our reputation on.

“Traditionally it would have taken seven years to become a fully qualified Skoda technician but with this new scheme, apprentice technicians can complete their training fully within four years so it’s a really attractive prospect. If you or anyone you know has an interest in these trainee positions we would urge you to apply.”

Applicants will be interviewed in July or August with successful candidates starting in September this year.
