Small is effective says Spies Hecker

The automotive industry’s love of tinted clears is on-going. Now, Spies Hecker is offering 100ml of Permasolid® Clear Coat Color Additives.

From Hot Magenta to Rouge Flamme or Candy Blue, the Permasolid® Clear Coat Color Additives are often only used in small quantities when it comes to repairing tinted 2K High Solids clear coats. So the new packaging size for the colour additives, which contains 100ml of the additive, is perfect for the needs of many bodyshops.

The Permasolid® Clear Coat Color Additives are available from July 2014 in small containers with twist-off caps. “Because there is less product in the containers they tend to be used completely, with no product left over, which leads to reduced material waste disposal costs,” says Dietmar Wegener, Colour Specialist at Spies Hecker.

The smaller packaging makes the Permasolid® Clear Coat Color Additive even easier to dose. “A further advantage is that the Permasolid® Clear Coat Color Additives no longer need to be stored and stirred on the mixing machine,” Wegener points out. A simple shake of the bottle just before dosing is all it takes. The additives can be used in almost all 2K HS clear coats. “Each colour formula for vehicles with tinted clears contains a formula for the effect colour, as well as a formula for the clear coat. Matching colours is quick and easy with Spies Hecker’s CRplus formula software and the online formula search tool,” he continues.
