Team PR Reilly has launched Glasurit’s Matt Clear System, which the distributor says is perfect for creating and refinishing reduced gloss finishes.

The increasing trend for matt finishes is seeing leading vehicle manufacturers offering a wide variable of gloss levels from matt finishes, to silky satins, particularly on special editions such as the Mercedes-Benz Grand Edition as part of its “designo” programme of exclusive customer options.

Glasurit played a vital role in the development of these special finishes at OEM level and has applied this expertise to the refinish market with the Glasurit Matt Clear System, which enables bodyshops to reproduce an infinite range of reduced gloss levels by using just two intermixable matt clears. The versatility is further enhanced as the matt clears can also be intermixed with 923-335 clearcoat, which Glasurit users already have in their paintshops, to achieve the higher gloss unit level.
