Three arrested after ‘chop shop’ raid in Meath

Three men have been arrested after stolen vehicles were discovered at a scrapyard in Co Meath.

Gardaí searched the yard at Crossakiel under warrant on Tuesday and found the two vehicles, which had previously been reported stolen.

Gardaí from the Stolen Motor Vehicle Investigation Unit and forensic investigators carried out an examination of the scene.

The three men were detained at Kells Garda Station and the investigation is continuing.
