A new, long-term agreement has been signed between Toyota (GB) Plc and DuPont Performance Coatings (UK) Limited that will see the DuPont Refinish and Spies Hecker brands join Standox in securing approved status.
The UK agreement extends and continues a relationship which has existed between the companies for many years at a global, regional and local level. Distribution of DPC products will be handled by its network of independent, appointed distributors.
Steve Settle, Director Customer Services, Toyota (GB) Plc, said: “We are very pleased to be extending our relationship with DPC. Over the last seven years the team at DPC have a proven track record in delivering the product to the TGB approved network. We share the common goals of quality, sustainability, right first time and complete customer satisfaction. We believe the strength of DuPont Refinish, Spies Hecker and Standox products plus the support, training and value-added activities offered by DPC will be vital in TGB’s on-going drive to boost productivity and efficiency, whilst continuing to deliver exceptional quality and customer service.”
For DPC, Nigel Glass, Marketing and Strategic Planning Manager, said: “We are delighted to have successfully concluded negotiations with TGB and in such a way as to offer choices to our customers. Through carefully selected business relationships, DPC seeks to offer the widest choice of quality products through a network of independent appointed distributors. By securing approval for all of our brands, that choice is extended to TGB approved bodyshops, enabling them to achieve ‘best fit’ for their overall business needs. We look forward to further extending what has already proved to be a strong and sustainable business relationship with TGB and its approved repairer network.”
