Trico unveils new wiper blade technologies at Automechanika

Trico, a world leader in replacement windscreen wiper blades unveiled several new industry-leading wiper blade technologies at Automechanika this week.

The new Trico Exact Fit™ wiper blade Factory Replacement Centre (FRC) is set to launch in Europe this year and was showcased first at Automechanika.

The Trico Exact Fit Factory Replacement Centre is comprised of an entirely redesigned and widely expanded Trico Exact Fit range of front and rear wiper blades and allows Trico to outfit nearly 99% of European vehicles with no adaptors required.

As the company is increasingly selected as O/E fitment by the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers, Trico is proud to showcase their latest developments in widescreen wiping technology. The Trico Exact Fit range will continue to deliver original factory replacement quality and performance, now all in one product line that includes all blade types: conventional, beam, hybrid and rear blades.

Also launching this autumn is the all-new Trico Force®, a premium high-performance beam blade product line. Incorporating a patented swept-wing spoiler, the Trico Force controls airflow and converts force from winds up to and in excess of 220 kph into downward pressure for maximum windscreen contact.

Trico offers another European wiper blade industry first: Trico Ice®, an extreme winter wiper blade. The Trico Ice blade is especially designed with a synthetic blended armour that protects the wiper components from ice and snow. Clear of obstruction, the Trico Ice blade delivers performance drivers can rely on even in the harshest weather conditions.

Always conscious of its aftermarket buyers and sellers, Trico has expanded its Trico Flex® multi-fit blade product line into 14 part numbers with the addition of blade lengths in 730mm, 750mm and 800mm. This delivers a universal fit wiper blade at competitive pricing. Trico Flex is now the perfect way for retailers to upgrade and driver to the newest beam blade technology.
