LKQ UK & Ireland has strengthened its leadership team with a trio of appointments.
Tony Shearer has been named the firm’s new chief operating officer (COO), taking over from Richard Morgan who is stepping down before retiring.
Shearer brings over 15 years of experience within the company to the LKQ board and will now be responsible for logistics and supply chain operations, as well as the commercial operations team supporting the UK and Ireland group.
He was most recently group logistics director, where he oversaw LKQ’s major logistics operation that delivers more than 55,000 orders daily to technicians across Ireland and the UK.
Elsewhere, Matt Robinson has been appointed as LKQ Euro Car Parts’ new business to business (B2B) trade director. He will oversee the motor factor’s relationships with more than 25,000 independent garages and workshops.
Robinson joined LKQ in 2019 as regional manager for the south west of England. He was most recently regional director for the south and will report to chief commercial officer Andy Southby.
Completing the trio of appointments is Adam Ince, who takes over as divisional director for the south of the UK, responsible for overseeing LKQ’s 135 branches across the region. He brings 23 years of experience in the industry and was most recently sales director at GSF Car Parts.
