UK factory closure won’t affect Ireland – Bosal Ireland boss
The closure of Bosal’s manufacturing facility in the UK, will not impact on the Irish market, Philip Flanagan, Managing Director of Bosal Ireland has confirmed.
Bosal’s manufacturing facility in the UK has ceased production with the loss of 100 jobs, but the closure with not affect Ireland, as Bosal Ireland sources its stock from other plants across Europe.
The bad news for the Lancashire-based workers came after administrators from the finance firm Duff & Phelps were unable to find a suitable buyer for the company’s manufacturing division. As a consequence all production has ceased, resulting in 116 redundancies.
