Vehicle repair industry wins big in 2025 Irish Auto Trade Awards

The prestigious Irish Auto Trade Awards and CV Workshop Awards made a welcome return this year, which were fiercely contested across both national and regional categories.

Presented during last weekend’s Auto Trade EXPO and CV Workshop EXPO in the RDS Dublin, the big winners in the bodyshop and collision repair industry for 2025 were Mirka, who won ‘Bodyshop Consumables Brand of the Year’, and Car-O-Liner, winning ‘Bodyshop Tools & Equipment Supplier of the Year’.

PPG was named ‘Paint Brand of the Year’, while the ‘Paint Distributor of the Year’ award went to Synergy Vehicle Refinishing Solutions Ireland (VRSI).

Sleators Bodyshop in Mullingar was voted the overall ‘Bodyshop of the Year’ for 2025, following victory in the Leinster (Excl. Co. Dublin) regional awards.

The other regional award winners included a joint-winner in the Dublin area, which was Accident Repair Centre in Tallaght, and ACE AutoBody in Coolock. Autoright in Cork won the Munster award, Mackins Accident Repair Centre scooped the Northern Ireland award, while Collision Experts Galway was voted Bodyshop of the Year for Connacht/Ulster (excluding Northern Ireland).

Over in the CV Workshop Awards, Corcoran’s Vehicle Repair Centre in Portlaoise was voted the overall ‘CV Bodyshop of the Year’ for 2025, as well as the regional award for Leinster (Excl. Co Dublin). Derek Beahan Recovery in Dublin won the ‘CV Recovery Operator of the Year’ award.

The remaining CV Bodyshop of the Year regional award winners were: Westruck Spray Painting in Co Galway (Connacht/Ulster excluding Northern Ireland); TTW – Truck & Trailer Works (Dublin); MK Auto Body Repair in Co. Cork (Munster); and Lennons Accident Repair in Co. Tyrone (Northern Ireland).

Elsewhere at the Auto Trade EXPO, ARM Distribution won a ‘Best Compact Stand’ award for its impressive display of wheel alignment, ADAS and welding solutions.
