ZF [pro]Tech offering to take centre stage at the NEC Birmingham
ZF Aftermarket, under its ZF [pro]Tech initiative, says it is gearing up to arm garages and bodyshop technicians with the technical skills and know-how required to service and maintain the vehicles of today and tomorrow this June at the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event.
Visitors will find the team on stand C10 during 8th–9th June at the NEC Birmingham, as they illustrate how the company delivers cutting-edge technical support, information and training to the independent aftermarket (IAM) through its ZF [pro]Tech garage workshop concept during the show.
A full introduction to ZF [pro]Tech will be available, providing a personalised technical support and information hub and comprehensive support for the independent garage network.
ZF says visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to talk to ZF experts about membership benefits of its two industry programmes, ‘Plus & Start’, and find out more information on training courses available.
A number of courses have also been specially designed for those for working with electric vehicles, such as the company’s ‘High Voltage Expert’, which are available directly from ZF Aftermarket or at a discounted rate via ZF [pro]Tech start.
Membership includes access to ZF’s technical knowledge, discounted training courses and free access to OEM service campaign information across all systems, not just ZF. This operates via an online portal and technical helpline.
A one-off affordable payment offers garages membership to this. The online personalised information hub allows access to ZF’s technical knowledge, together with all-makes, all systems OEM service campaign information, traditionally available only through main dealers at considerable cost.
The company says that its ZF [pro]Tech concept was born of a genuine desire to support the independent aftermarket in an age of advancing and changing mobility. A firm believer in the importance of futureproofing the aftermarket through knowledge and training, the business made a decision long ago that this initiative would be about people, not profit.
Darren Lloyd, UK technical sales manager at ZF Aftermarket, said: “The UK Garage and Bodyshop Event is a bespoke exhibition that has been created with the garage and bodyshop technician in mind. We can’t wait to get back in front of them and engage in exciting dialogue face to face once again.
“Engagement and training have always been a key focus for ZF [pro]Tech and we want to make coming to our stand an enjoyable, exciting and rewarding experience, which is why we’re offering key training opportunities and product updates during the show.”
