Glasurit now offers body shops the grey shade concept for perfectly adjusting the undercoat to a grey shade. Tinting in the matching grey shade not only guarantees high colour accuracy of the topcoat, but also enables spray painters to save process times and material since less topcoat needs to be applied.

Some colors require a grey shade in the first application step in order to achieve color accuracy. In these cases, the mixing formula for the grey shade is automatically displayed in Glasurit Color Online’s color information.

But for some colors, there is no mandatory grey shade. However, by using the matching grey shade body shops can still optimize their processes for these colors and work more efficiently and economically. In order for spray painters to recognize which grey shade would lead to savings for the searched color, Glasurit has integrated the optional grey shades in the Color Online color information. Since mid-September, in addition to the mixing formula of the color, information is displayed on the optional grey shade that will lead to a more efficient application process.
