Kinetic’25 industry event ‘exceeds all expectations’

Kinetic’25, a two-day conference, exhibition, and networking event held earlier this month in Telford, UK, is reported to have “broken attendance records and exceeded all expectations”.

Live on stage at Kinetic, was a line-up of speakers and panellists representing all sectors of the industry, from insurers to manufacturers, repairers to suppliers. The session was hosted by journalist and former Top Gear host, Quentin Willson, together with Chris McKie, group CEO of Vizion, the company behind the event.

The theme of Kinetic was “infinitive possibilities”, with an emphasis on collaboration and joined-up thinking.

The event filled two arenas, packed with sponsors and exhibitors representing a strong cross-section of the bodyshop and collision repair industry. Delegates enjoyed some of the very best products, services, and innovation delivered by leading companies, including Mirka, PPG, Blackhawk Collision Repair, AkzoNobel and LKQ.

Vehicle manufacturers such as BYD, Ford and Stellantis, gave Kinetic their full support and showcased some world-leading electric vehicle and digital innovations. These were contrasted by a nostalgic display of classic models, underlining just how far technology and materials have progressed over the years.

Chris McKie, group CEO of Vizion, said of the event: “I would like to give a personal, heartfelt thanks to all of our speakers and panellists, also to our sponsors and partners and to everyone who attended Kinetic’25 – it means nothing without them.

“We work extremely hard to ensure Kinetic works for everyone, conversations during, and humbling messages since, say we delivered. The effort it takes to produce Kinetic is immense, the bond and drive within the team cannot be over-stated and I could not be prouder of them.

“Kinetic is a catalyst for positive change and it continues to help Vizion and the sector innovative and shape a positive future, by bringing businesses together, to create shared strategies with common goals.”

Frank Byrnes, group business development manager at Vizion Ireland, hailed Kinetic’25 as “the most amazing event” and praised the large Irish contingent that attended the event.

Meanwhile, a networking event, Konnect, welcomed over 1,200 people for an evening of entertainment.

Marcus Laird, director of digital innovation at Vizion added: “The feedback has been incredible, but we are always keen to improve so we have reached out to delegates for feedback. On behalf of everyone at Vizion, we would like to thank our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, and above all, our delegates. Without you, none of this would have been possible.”
