Workshop equipment provider Maha Ireland, has revealed details of its updated headlight tester. The MLT 3000 2.0 is an upgrade on its predecessor, bringing the latest advancements in headlight testing technology to the fore.
Designed to meet both legal requirements and OEM specifications, the MLT 3000 2.0 delivers the same accuracy, consistency and reliability that workshops in Ireland have been accustomed to – but its modern features mean the new model can handle the demands of LED, xenon and laser systems.

Benefits include:
- Seven-inch capacitive touchscreen for intuitive operation and clear measurement display
- High-dynamic-range CMOS camera for accurate digital analysis of headlight beams
- Electronic level compensation to ensure accuracy – even on bumpy workshop floors
- Wireless connectivity for flexible integration into workshop processes and test lanes
- Robust Fresnel lens with light-collecting box to simplify vehicle alignment
- Long-life lithium-ion battery for extended use and reduced charging time
- Futureproofing built in
Regular and free software updates allow testing of the latest headlight technologies, including variable cut-off lines and blue fringing, while ‘quick mode’ allows fast low-beam inspection. Optional vertical lasers, optical adjustment aids and flexible connectivity via EuroSystem software make it easy to integrate into any workshop setup.
