MechanExpert rounds off first Technical Roadshows of 2026

MechanExpert has concluded the first of its free Technical Roadshows of 2026, which took place last week across Tralee, Cork and Thurles.

As always, mechanics and technicians were afforded the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest in automotive technology and to meet the people behind some of the industry’s leading parts brands.

The MechanExpert Technical Roadshow in Thurles was supported by Murphy & Ryan Motor Factors

Free technical training and demonstrations took place across each of the three nights, with Schaeffler providing a breakdown on 2CT or more commonly known DSG, understanding the replacement and diagnosis of the complete system, as well as exploring new technology from Schaeffler through Vitesco.

ZF Aftermarket was also on hand with a practical session focused on automatic transmission servicing, tackling frequently asked questions and guiding attendees through a hybrid vehicle walkthrough.

The MechanExpert Technical Roadshow in Tralee was supported by AAP Car Parts

The second round of MechanExpert Technical Roadshows for 2026 will take place this June in the north of Ireland, with exact dates and locations to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

MechanExpert will also be exhibiting at the 2026 Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.

The MechanExpert Technical Roadshow in Cork was supported by Albert Quinlan Motor Factors.
