Mirka introduces new Dexos dust extractor
Mirka is expanding its range with the introduction of the new Mirka Dexos 1230 M AFC dust extractor, designed to provide users with a dust-free work environment.
The combination of its large 30-litre container to collect the dust, a powerful 1200W brushless motor and M-class filtration ensures high-performance dust extraction that leads to less downtime spent on cleaning the workspace.
The Dexos 1230 M AFC has a high power to weight ratio and delivers efficient performance, whether it is being used for the first time or the hundredth time.
The extractor features two integrated power sockets with autostart functionality, built-in storage for a four-metre hose, a foot-operated brake and a top handle.
Despite the increased capacity, the Dexos 1230 M remains lightweight (weighing only 14 kg) and easy to manoeuvre. It is also compatible with workstation setups, allowing for smooth integration into professional workflows.
Mirka says its R&D team has focused on providing optimal performance, no matter how many times the extractor has been used. This is achieved with the help of the Automatic Filter Cleaning (AFC) and when it is connected to the myMirka app, it can be set at different intervals to ensure the tool is cleaning itself, so there is consistent suction.
In addition, there is a low air flow indicator that warns the user if there’s a blockage in the hose or if the container is full. The Dexos 1230 M’s connection via Bluetooth to the myMirka app allows it to share data about its performance and usage.
This enables businesses to comprehensively monitor the extractor, so they are aware of how much it is being used, its suction performance and any issues can be dealt with before they affect how the extractor is performing.
