New Autoglym exterior trim restorer

Autoglym has launched a new exterior trim restorer that it claims transforms dull and faded plastics back to their original factory-fresh condition and protects against fading for at least three months.

The all-in-one kit includes enough product to treat around five mid-sized family cars.

Suitable for bumpers, wheel arch trims, mirror housings, and other unpainted, plastic exterior surfaces, Autoglym says its new exterior trim restorer can be used to protect new cars and also treat affected areas of older vehicles.

The new product provides an ultra-durable coating that resists UV rays, extreme weather conditions and environmental contaminants, year-round.

While some plastic restorers fail to prevent water streaks and discolouration following rainfall, Autoglym claims its new solution establishes a uniform satin finish that remains consistent in all weathers.

The new exterior trim restorer kit comes with a 30ml bottle of solution and a handy bespoke applicator that helps users apply the right amount of product with no risk of runoff.

The one-stage application quickly creates a robust chemical bond with the surface and leaves no streaks or oily residues.

Monbatt, trading as International Tool Industries, is the distributor for Autoglym across 25 counties in Ireland (excluding Donegal, which remains under a legacy arrangement).

Autoglym will be exhibiting at the 2026 Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
