Stellantis expands dismantling network to Middle East and Africa
Stellantis has expanded its vehicle dismantling network with the opening of its first site in the Middle East and Africa.
The new 6,000 sqm facility is located in Casablanca, Morocco, and has a capacity to dismantle up to 10,000 vehicles per year.
The €1.6 million investment marks the OEM group’s third dismantling site worldwide, after Turin in Italy, and São Paulo in Brazil.

The site sources end-of-life vehicles (ELV) from insurance companies, auctions and other ELV channels, dismantling them into reusable parts (including traction batteries) for sale through Stellantis’ aftersales network and the B-Parts digital platform. The remaining material is collected for recycling.
The Casablanca centre is said to be the first of its kind in Morocco, and forms part of the SUSTAINera circular economy business unit of Stellantis, which delivers remanufacturing, repairing, reuse and recycling services across the region.
Stellantis said the site will serve Morocco and Sub-Saharan West Africa.
