VanFitters completes ‘one-of-a-kind’ Farrier Mobile Workshop

Waterford-based VanFitters recently completed a “one-of-a-kind” Farrier Mobile Workshop built on a Renault Trafic Crew Cab, designed and fabricated around the real-world workflow of a professional farrier.

Martin Murphy, managing director of VanFitters, said the ground-up, purpose-built solution focused on “durability, access, safety and daily trade use”.

“Every layout decision was made around how the customer actually works — tools, movement, reach, and load handling,” he added.

The Farrier Mobile Workshop features a full aluminium chequerplate interior finish along with metal trim detailing throughout.

The cargo area of the van now also comprises a dedicated horse shoe storage system, fully extendable drill and polisher workstation, a fully extendable linisher workstation, 1,200mm heavy-duty full-extension drawer units, a crew cab platform retained for dual-purpose use, and industrial runner systems throughout.

VanFitters will be exhibiting at the 2026 CV Workshop EXPO, which takes place alongside the Auto Trade EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
