Cromax has introduced its CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear, an all-purpose clear that is suitable for everything from small area repairs to full re-sprays.<\/p>\n

Based on pioneering new technology, CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear offers refinishers a clearcoat that is quick and easy to apply, has good vertical stability, that dries quickly and yet still produces excellent, high-gloss results.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have created CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear with the latest trend of low-viscosity products in mind,\u201d says Kevin Welling, Training Academy Manager for Axalta Coating Systems in the UK and Ireland. \u201cAll of its advantages mean bodyshops could save as much as 15 minutes per job in ideal conditions, so this could certainly help our bodyshops increase their throughput, which is an aim that is always at the forefront of our minds when we develop new products.\u201d<\/p>\n

Part of the Cromax Performance System, CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear is simple to apply in two coats with a short intermediate flash off time and offers excellent surface wetting, leading to a very smooth flow. With very good topcoat hold-out, CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear delivers a high-gloss finish.<\/p>\n

CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear also provides flexibility in drying that helps to save energy and reduce costs. It cures in just 15 minutes at 60\u00b0C and alternatively in 30 minutes at 40\u00b0C \u2013 so it adapts to a range of work processes with the same reliable, high-quality results. The rapid curing times also mean that components can be polished and assembled straight after cooling.<\/p>\n

The new clear is launched with its corresponding activator: AR7505 High Performance Clearcoat Activator. There is an easy mixing ratio of 2:1, with and addition of 10 per cent AZ9500 High Performance VOC Agent. This combination helps to make CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear suitable for nearly every application condition.<\/p>\n

The new CC6500 High Performance VOC Clear is part of the Fast Repair concept for minor repairs, dents and scratches, which increases productivity through a reduction of labour time and a reduction of used materials.<\/p>\n
