Audatex and Cartell will deliver an automated service which notifies of the Category A (scrap only) or Category B (some parts salvageable) inspection, to support insurers with the new provisions shortly coming into force.<\/p>\n<p>The total loss registration solution works using Audatex\u2019s AudaEnterpriseGold (AEG) solution, generating a \u2018Daily Total Loss Report\u2019 to Cartell to conduct a check of each vehicle. Once verified, a summary of all Category A and B cases will be delivered automatically to the Department of Transport on the same day, to achieve fast vehicle categorisation in line with the regulation changes. Any vehicles requiring further verification will be sent directly to the insurer to correct records on the Audatex system and re-processed by Cartell accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the partnership, Tom Hart, head of client relationships at Audatex said: \u201cWorking closely with Cartell, we have created a sophisticated solution, powered by data from vehicle assessments to fully automate the category identification process.
