<\/p>\nCJS International has ordered two new S.BO Pace trailers from Schmitz Cargobull, praising the quality of the product and level of customer service as key reasons behind the deal.<\/p>\n

Each trailer, built at Schmitz Cargobull\u2019s production facility in Manchester, features a moving floor to make loading and unloading easier for the business\u2019 specialist work for the aviation industry.<\/p>\n
The two new semi-trailers will be paired with CJS Transport\u2019s high-spec Volvo and Scania tractor units.<\/p>\n
Working out of the company\u2019s main depot at East Midlands Airport, they will be used to transport pre-built aviation pallets and containers to other airports in the UK, including Heathrow, Manchester and Glasgow.<\/p>\n
Schmitz Cargobull says the S.BO Pace offers a weight saving of up to 700kg over traditional dry-freight trailer designs due to its Struktoplast panels \u2013 lightweight, polypropylene honeycomb-shaped core panels \u2013 designed to increase payload capability and lead to a reduction in fuel costs and CO2 emissions over the lifecycle of the trailer.<\/p>\n
Both new semi-trailers are equipped with Schmitz Cargobull\u2019s Trailer Connect telematics system and built on a galvanised Modulus bolted chassis which has been designed for both strength and durability, and comes with a 10-year warranty against rust-through on all galvanised parts.<\/p>\n
Jeff Swift, managing director at CJS International, said: \u201cThe S.BO Pace is ideal for our operation. It\u2019s very specialist work, the pallets are 11ft by 8ft with aluminium bases, it\u2019s not like moving pallets of food or drink, for instance.<\/p>\n
