Instead of replacing entire motors at high cost, targeted repairs can now be performed \u2013 saving resources and supporting a sustainable circular economy.<\/p>\n<p>Permanent magnets create a strong magnetic field, which can make handling the rotor difficult. The gap between the stator and the rotor, known as the \u2018air gap\u2019, is crucial for an electric motor to function properly. A smaller gap increases the motor\u2019s efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the magnetic force can cause the rotor to adhere to the stator, making it difficult to remove.
