Glass\u2019s is about to release a second Service Pack upgrade to all GlassMatix customers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The upgrade brings with it three major enhancements – Thatcham LCV Paint data logic, Thatcham Integrated Methods functionality and inclusion of Euro Car Parts data – alongside a number of maintenance items, provided in response to customer feedback.<\/p>\n

Thatcham LCV Paint Data Logic<\/p>\n

With an increasing demand for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in the UK, Glass\u2019s is keen to align with its repair partners to provide the best possible products.<\/p>\n

We have added a new refinish logic for LCVs, which includes refinish time and paint material cost allowances for inner surface areas of paint panels and refinish blends where surface paint damage has been incurred.<\/p>\n

The new logic will apply initially to the Ford Transit Van from 2006 onward, but will subsequently be used for other LCVs which will be progressively added to the GlassMatix database over the coming months.<\/p>\n

The upgrade also provides: additional blend operations for cars and LCVs, additional refinish repair operations for LCVs and automatic corrosion protection operations for repaired panels.<\/p>\n

GlassMatix users who are also licensed to use Thatcham escribe will be able to take advantage of a link to Thatcham Integrated Methods, at no additional cost.
\nReplacing the previous link to Thatcham\u2019s desktop escribe product, Thatcham Integrated Methods is a web based service allowing seamless access to repair methods throughout the GlassMatix estimating process.<\/p>\n

Direct links between the Thatcham Times System (TTS) data deployed in GlassMatix and escribe methods will enable users to drastically reduce time spent on research, by quickly and easily generating repair method packs relating to the vehicle and repair lines already selected in their GlassMatix estimate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
