The most popular\u00a0information requested by Autodata subscribers included service schedules, interactive coloured wiring diagrams and wheel alignment specifications.<\/p>\n<p>In the second quarter of 2015, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) announced a 17.4% increase in sales of AFVs, totalling 143,595.<\/p>\n<p>Autodata Chief Executive, Rod Williams, said: \u201cIt is encouraging to see a number of workshops take a proactive step to actively accept jobs on alternatively fuelled\u00a0vehicles. In the past there has often been a misconception about the ability of independents to carry out routine servicing and repairs on hybrids, however the reality\u00a0is that with a modest level of investment in new tools and training, this can be achieved to the same standard as a one-brand dealer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look back historically at emerging technologies, such as TPMS and diesel particulate filters, these were all things that workshops were reluctant at first to\u00a0touch but have now become part and parcel of an independents offerings.
