Bodyshop.ie has just learned that Volkswagen Group Ireland told some of its dealers today that it will no longer be proceeding with the direct selling agency model next year, as announced last year (2024).

Citroen Ireland and DS Automobiles Ireland have extended their safety recalled of nearly 2,000 vehicles. It says that it has contacted the owners of those vehicles. They are affected by a serious airbag safety issue, so Citroen is advising them not to drive their cars until the issue is resolved.

Motorists are being warned that common summer modifications, such as adding roof boxes, towbars and bicycle racks, could end up costing them.

Not only is this Government continuing to ignore small and medium businesses, but it is following a trend from the last couple of Irish Governments to drive businesses into the ground.
