Dano Dennehy RIP
It was with regret that we learned that Dano Dennehy of Castleisland Motor Factors in Co Kerry, passed away suddenly but peacefully at home at the age of 82 last week.

Dano was the loving husband of Nora and devoted father to Niall, Donal, Julie and Brenda and our sincere commiserations to them.
He was a Leading Light in the business and commercial life of Castleisland over the past few decades. As such he would have sponsored and supported many cultural and sporting events in the town and district. He played a major role in the development of Castleisland Golf Club, which opened in 2002.
Dano will be sadly missed by his loving family, sister Hannah Cunningham (Kanturk), grandchildren Charlotte, Cassandra, Colin, Millie, Oscar and Lyra, daughters-in-law Jayne and Triona, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law Timmy Cunningham, John, Mike, Dan and Mark Walsh and their families and other relatives. He will be greatly missed by his kind neighbours and many great friends, including his morning coffee buddies Andrew Kelliher and Tomo Burke.
Our commiserations also go to his work colleagues Liam, Denis, Tom and Micheal, and the customers of Castleisland Motor Factors.
Dano’s funeral took place at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballydesmond, Co Cork last Saturday (27th April), before his burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. May he rest in peace.
