New Renault Head of Press & Public Relations
Groupe Renault UK has appointed Matthew Bendall as its new Head of Press & Public Relations for the UK and Ireland.
Matthew has been with Groupe Renault UK for nine years – most recently as Press Relations Manager, since 2014. He first joined Renault UK on the Graduate Management scheme in 2005 and has completed various automotive PR and commercial roles.

Speaking about his new role, Matthew said: “I’m delighted to take on this role in the Groupe Renault UK Communications team. As someone who grew up in a household of Renaults, spent a few years living in France and bought his first car magazine at the age of 11, I’m genuinely excited at the prospect of leading the excellent UK Communications team and continuing to work with our friends and colleagues in the UK media in the months and years to come.”
Commenting on Matthew’s appointment, Vincent Tourette, Managing Director, Groupe Renault UK & Ireland, said: “Matt is recognised within Groupe Renault – in the UK and at our Global HQ – for having done an excellent job in his previous Press Relations Manager role, so it gives me great pleasure to see him progress and take on the responsibility for leading the UK Communications team. 2018 is set to be a busy year for Groupe Renault in the UK with Renault celebrating its 120th anniversary, Dacia growing from strength to strength with the arrival of the New Duster and Alpine returning with the fantastic new A110; with much more to follow in the months and years to come.”
